WHO
WE ARE

The Collins Club is Melbourne's premier business networking and social club. Established in 1980, the Club brings together a wide range of business professionals at our monthly luncheon events.

The Club was founded by a small group of expatriate Southern Africans who wished to meet the locals, get to know more about Australia and expand personal and business networking. Since then, the Club has transformed into a meeting place for members and guests of all nationalities.

The Collins Club is a not-for-profit organisation with a formal constitution, and is governed by an elected committee of members.

MISSION

To provide business professionals with intimate and varied networking opportunities while hearing from a diverse range of interesting speakers.

OBJECTIVES

Our objectives are to:

  • Establish an informal group of business executives in Melbourne and hold monthly lunches and other functions

  • Invite a cross section of guest speakers to address the club lunches

  • To promote discussion and, in an informal manner, to facilitate networks among members and their guests

  • To assist executives from overseas who move to Australia to broaden their business acquaintances, their understanding of local business conditions, and possibly with relocation challenges
